Royal Care Neurosciences is a comprehensive department of Royal Care Super Specialty Hospital Ltd, Coimbatore. A pioneering institution, which has introduced the MRgFUS, for Treatment of Functional Neuro Disorders (Movement Disorders), for the first time in India, South Asia, Middle East and African countries. This technological marvel is used for treating Parkinson’s Disease (PD) and Essential Tremors (ET). This treatment is approved by US FDA and CDSCO, India.
At Royal Care Neurosciences Hospital, we have so far successfully treated more than 95 patients with very good initial and follow up results, during last 18 months.
Exablate Neuro
INSIGHTEC is the first company to develop an innovative neurosurgery platform, ExAblate Neuro that can deliver ultrasound energy deep in the brain to create a lesion with no incisions. During a focused ultrasound treatment, the neurosurgeon sits at a computer console in the MRI control room, using a computer workstation and mouse instead of scalpel.
ExAblate Neuro is changing neurosurgery as we know it by offering an incisionless treatment option for essential tremor and tremor-dominant Parkinson's Disease and complete Parkinson’s Disease patients. All the above Treatments are approved by CDSCO, Govt of India and USFDA, as well. There many more indications for treatment, in the pipeline for approval.
